More than
a booking agent.
We are partners in the long arc of a musician's career — built on three things that don't bend.
Integrity
Transparent process, ethical contracts, no hidden middlemen. You always know where you stand and what you've signed up for.
Expertise
A team of working musicians, MDs and industry veterans who have done the gigs you're applying for — and can tell you the truth about them.
Opportunities
Curated roles aboard the world's largest cruise lines and at premier live venues — matched to your voice, instrument and ambitions.
Three kinds
of artist.
Every musician is matched to roles that fit their craft — never forced into something that doesn't suit them.
Reading Musicians
For showband, theatre and production gigs. Roles demand exceptional sight-reading, broad repertoire and seasoned professionalism under pressure.
Non-Reading Musicians
For lounge sets, party bands and resident groups. Versatile performers who bring energy, instinct and tight ensemble feel to every set.
Guest Entertainers
Headline acts with established repertoires and stage presence. Solo artists, duos and specialty acts that deliver a complete, distinctive show.
A stage
on every coast.
From the open ocean to the live stage — opportunities we curate and stand behind.
Cruise Ships
Long-running contracts aboard the world's leading cruise lines — guaranteed work, travel, accommodation included.
Live Venues
Theatres, festivals, private events and corporate showcases across the UK and Europe.

Formal qualifications are not required. However, we look for professional musicians with experience in live performance. To work at sea, you’ll need to provide:
• A valid passport • An ENG1 Medical Certificate (to confirm fitness for work at sea) • A Seaman’s Discharge Book • MMR Vaccination Certificate (Depending on itinerary you may be required to get additional vaccinations) • Visas - these are based on the passport(s) you hold and the itinerary a contract will take.
Experience performing live in professional settings, such as concerts, hotels, or events, is highly valued. For non-reading musicians, the ability to adapt to a range of styles and situations is essential.
Sonic Artistes specialises in connecting talented musicians with opportunities to work at sea.
