Sonic Studios is the production rehearsal home of Sonic Artistes — a dedicated, fully-equipped room in Chichester where cruise-line show bands, touring acts and resident groups come to lock the set in before the contract starts.
It is, first and last, a rehearsal facility. Not a recording studio dressed up as one. Every decision here — the in-ear rig, the click distribution, the gear list, the place to stay a few minutes down the road — is there to make the rehearsal day longer, calmer and more useful. The work is the show. The room gets out of the way.
For over 15 years our team has been preparing musicians for the road and the deck. Sonic Studios is where that experience lives — a room run by working players, kept on the same standard you'd expect from a venue you'd actually want to play.

Five things every band needs to rehearse properly — all already in the room, included with the booking, and looked after by people who use them.
MD Station + Click
A dedicated music-director position with click input, talkback, programme cue, light cue and timecode out — exactly the way it sits in a cruise theatre or a touring rig. Walk in, plug in, run the set.
Top-Quality Equipment
Backline maintained the way working musicians maintain backline: tuned, valeted, serviced and ready. From a high end electric kit to piano, bass and guitar rigs, vocal mics and the virtual consoles to run them all.
Flexible Bookings
Take the room for a day, a long weekend, or a full production block. Hourly turnarounds are not our thing — when the room is yours, it is genuinely yours, with the keys and the kettle to match.
Accommodation Sorted
Our own place, a 10–15 minute drive from the studio, sleeps up to eight — two twin rooms and two doubles, clean linen, hot showers, the kind of beds you can actually rest in between a 14-hour tech and the next morning's run. No hotel hunting. Booked separately.

Email the studioNo. Sonic Studios is, first and foremost, a musician rehearsal facility. We can capture recordings for reference and review — but the room exists to make rehearsals better, not to replace a tracking studio.
Cruise-line show bands prepping a contract, theatre productions and tribute shows in pre-production, touring bands working a new set, and resident groups rebuilding their book. Anything that needs a serious, uninterrupted run-up to a live performance.
Of course. The backline is there so you don't have to — but if a player wants their own kit, amp or keys, we'll help you load in and set up. There's space and power for everything.
We have our own place a 10–15 minute drive from the studio — two twin rooms and two doubles, sleeping up to eight. Linen, towels and showers are provided. Stays are included with production blocks and residencies, and available as an add-on for day bookings.
There is a full kitchen on site where you can prepare food and hot and cold drinks. — The house has a full kitchen and breakfast room, there are local pubs a short walk from the house.
Production blocks tend to book 8–12 weeks out — cruise pre-production windows fill quickly. Single days can often be accommodated inside a fortnight. Drop us an email; we'll be straight with you about availability.
